Speed Dating FAQS

When are Events held?

Events are held on Weeknights with a starting time of 7:30pm. We believe weeknights provide a more relaxed atmosphere than weekends.

Can I cancel my ticket if am unable to attend the event?

Yes, we understand that personal commitments can change on a daily basis. Simply email us at customerservice@amourlife.com.au at least 48 hours prior to the event and receive a full refund.

Where is Amourlife Based?

We are a Australian based business, with our head office located at Suite 420 585 Little Collins Street Melbourne Victoria 3000.

Is there a dress code?

There is no dress code, we encourage our attendees to dress in a way which makes them feel comfortable, and expresses their unique personality and style.

What age groups do you run events for?

We run events for all ages from 20 to 60.

In Which Cites are events run?

We hold speed dating events in all major cities of Australia including: Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth and the Gold Coast.

When will I receive my matches?

All matches are received via email the next day.

Online Dating FAQS

How do I create a profile on Amourlife’s online dating site?

If you are an existing Amourlife speed dating member and would like to create an online dating profile.

1. Log into your Amourlife account
2. Click on the online dating navigation tab
3. Click on the create online dating profile image
4. Fill in the required profile fields

If you are not an Amourlife Member

1. Click on the join button in the top right-hand corner of the header, or fill in the registration form on the right-hand sidebar of each page.
2. Complete the required fields
3. Click the create online dating profile button
4. Enter your profile information

How do I delete my online dating profile?

At any time you can delete your Amourlife online dating profile including all personal information by clicking the Delete Account button in the options tab

or

Emailing your request to amourlife@amourlife.com.au

If you would like take a break and return at a later date. Click on the deactivate button in the options tab. Your profile information will be saved however you will no longer appear in search results, or be able to receive messages from other members.

To make your profile visible again, and enable contact from other members

1. Log into your account
2. Go to the options tab
3. Click the reactivate profile button

Why did the resolution of my photos decrease after being uploaded?

It is recommended that uploaded photo’s are at least 200 x 200 pixels. Smaller images can be uploaded however the resolution will be reduced by 10%.

Why did my photo upload sideways?

If your image was taken on a smartphone it is highly likely that the phot was taken in landscape mode rather than portrait mode. Although the image may display correctly on your PC it will display sideways when uploaded to most websites due to the Exif tag contained within the image.

The exif tag can be removed with a photo editing software such as Photoshop or GIMP. Alternatively, email your images and online dating username to photos@amourlife.com.au and we will remove the Exif tag and upload the image to your profile with correct orientation.
